Man, this game is like, actually pretty good. Really makes you think, and I love the aesthetic.

This only gets 0.5 more because it's free points. That's the only redeeming part about this, if even that.

I will be playing this game for hours on end. This reminds me of the old platformer shmups that were on Newgrounds back in the day (which, in turn, reminds me of arcade platforming shooters like Contra and Metal Slug.)

Anyways, I love the crude-yet-skillful pixel art, and how it manages to capture the scenery perfectly. The soundtrack is absolutely astounding, by the way, and like the sound effects (because I too scream like Steve Carell when shot by an energy cannon.) I also like how intuitive the controls are, playing kinda like Alien Hominid.

However, I don't like how the enemies are on-rails at times, that is, ignoring you until they're at the end of the path. I feel that it makes it way too easy to gun them down. Speaking of "easy," I'd prefer difficulty settings as well, like a Hard "one-hit-and-you're-out" setting.

Anyways, this is a really cool game, and I like it. Happy Pico Day!

This pissed me off for 11 minutes straight, before I gave up and rage quit. Very good ngl.

While the game has some promise and talent, it just doesn't go out well. First, there's no instructions on how to fight the enemies, which makes it hell to play the 2nd stage. Speaking of, it's way too easy, yet still complicated to go to stage 2, as the pitfall at the beginning has ample clearance to just press left and auto-win. However, the hitboxes are unforgiving when you're on a ledge, as they make it unable to jump off of the ledge.

As stated before, the game needs a bit of work. You've made it thus far, so use these little tidbits to further development. In the meantime, you can post on the Programming forums, in case you have no idea what you're doing.

Best game made in Construct GE since ever. Unlike Mr. Floyd's bronchial system, I can feel the cool breath of fresh air this game created.
